Some photos from this past weekend and clinic with STeve Bostwick:
Steve will be coming to IHF monthly for clinics until the weather breaks and then will be back in the spring. If you are interested in trailering in for a clinic please give us a call. Clinic fee is $75 a session. Steve is fantastic with working on the basics all the way up through solving various training issues with horse and rider. We have a walk trot session through 3'+ . Steve has some very well known and respected clients on the east coast starting horses for the Chapot's/CHADO farms and also working with some "problem" horses for George Morris along with many other large show jumper and hunter barns that have been impressed time and again with Steve's patient and creative training methods. On the west coast Steve has a large number of horses and credentials following the Grand Prix circuit and he still is called upon to travel out to California yearly. He has a very laid back way of communicating to horse and rider without ever having to raise his voice and you will always walk away with something new.

IN LOVING MEMORY
Cruise Control "Chester"
Jan 1964 - Dec 2006
Chester was loved by many, many people, he was a teacher, friend, and troublemaker to even more! Those who had the wonderful opportunity to know him will always hold a special place in their hearts. To me personally Chester was the first pony I ever rode, and then fell off of, learned how to pick myself back up and get back on to fall off again! So many people including myself learned the hard way from Chester, but always remembered the lesson he gave you! As I looked back I realized that when I tried my hardest he would do what I asked of him, and ONLY when I tried 100% would he give in! That is what was so special about him, he made you try your very hardest, he made you realize that if riding was SO easy than everyone would do it! I very much hope that everyone who is involved with horses will come across a horse or pony that instills the same beliefs in them that just one pony could instill in me. -AM
